Texas 1
3rd poem in the collection, Road Noise.
The end of the world,
For the third time this morning,
Is a line up ahead
On the horizon,
With blue sky beyond.
For the third time this morning,
Is a line up ahead
On the horizon,
With blue sky beyond.
Imagine a sign that says,
“Here Be Dragons!”
And then drive over the world’s edge
To sadly see—more land, more road,
And no dragons.
